Guides

Your safety is the top priority. Guides are experienced and certified professional mountaineers. (ACMG & CSGA). Each morning and evening they meet to evaluate and discuss conditions based on their own observations and data supplied by remote weather stations and the Canadian Avalanche Association Information Exchange. Day by Day they will find the best of what mother nature has served up.

Equipment

Burton snowboards are available for your use. Now you can experience the legendary powder surf-style on either the Malolo or the Fish.

These boards are specifically designed for the backcountry powder.

Malolo Length 158, 162 cm
Fish 156, 160cm

Conditions
Snow, snow, snow...dry champagne powder snow. While nature will dictate the conditions and temps. (Winter Average of -7 to -15 c / 20 to 50 F) it does not hurt to be at the doorstep of Rogers Pass, a powder producing epicenter. Consistent dry powder is why we are here and why guests keep coming back.

Terrain
Selkirk and Purcell Ranges British Columbia, Alberta. Licensed ski area is perched on the Northern boundary of Canada’s Glacier National Park. Our rugged dreamscape of 10,000 ft. plus peaks, glaciers, open bowls, and gladed trees, all easily accessable in the Asatar B2 Helicopters.
You don’t have to be an all out expert to ski here...If you can ski a black diamond run at a resort you can handle the terrain here...but it helps to be in great shape.
